Playing Golf with the BossManagers manage their staff differently and follow different philosophies. Some like to be friends with the people they are in charge of. Other managers prefer to keep enough distance that they don’t feel bad when they are telling them off and can keep focussed on business.
It is possible for both types of managers to be successful and to do good jobs. While one manager may sing friend songs with their staff and even allow them days off for special occasions, other managers wouldn’t even dared by approached by staff about such concerns.
What is interesting is both styles of management can be mixed. Some workers are able to deliver an extra 10% after they’ve been told they need to work harder or better. For other workers it may be a confidence blow. Ultimately a manager needs to get the best of their workers as a whole, and if possible keep them all happy.

Software Selection Tips for Track Mixing
There are a lot of options when looking for dubstep software but however you plan to proceed with your selection, always keep these tips in mind:
- The most pimped-out user interface is not necessarily the best but it does have its merits. Remember that the more sound effect options you have at your disposal, the more creative you can be. However, also remember that you will almost always not end up using every effect on your user interface. If you can pay for the absolute minimum requirement that you need without compromising your creative avenues, then that’s the best setup you can ever ask for.
- Check if you want to do it online or offline. Some websites offer online creation with automatic downloading. If that is not your thing, find software that suits your PC or Mac unit and mix from there.
- In line with the cost considerations, software with little additions are always best. Be in the lookout for those that are stand-alones while still giving you the best option for music creation.

My Music Was Removed on YouTubeI was so excited when I recently got my first video put onto YouTube, I fancy myself as the next big movie maker so I spent a lot of time getting the video just right. After it went live it was pretty successful. I had optimised the video well so it appeared high up in the search results for popular search terms. It got a steady number of views come in every day which was good but then it all went wrong. The music was an integral part and then YouTube took it away because I did not have permission to use it. I read up on this afterwards and now I see what I did wrong so I will not make this mistake again. You need special Music for websites that has no licensing or prohibited use issues when broadcasting in the public domain, this means you need permission when using someone else’s music.
